JV Volleyball wins own Invitational on 9/13!

The Red Arrow JV-Goff Raiders won the JV invite hosted at New Buffalo High School on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The Raiders were 5-3 in pool play, dropping to Cassopolis and splitting with Brandywine. This placed them 4th in pool play where they had to play Bridgman (5th seed) and won in 2 sets. The Raiders then faced off with Cassopolis, again, this time defeating Cassopolis in 2 sets. They headed into the championship game against Decatur and defeated them in 2 sets as well. They finished with a record 3-0 in bracket play, winning in 6 straight sets. The Raiders truly dominated the bracket play after starting a little slow in the morning. Leading the Raiders in kills were Freshman Chloe Caid with 28, followed by Sophomores Emerson Collins and Rylee Rudolph each with 26, and Lucy Stahlschmidt added 14 kills. Emerson Collins handed out 42 assists followed by Rylee Rudolph with 36. Serving was a highlight as well, leading in aces were Emerson Collins having 18, Greta Vollman with 16, and Rylee Rudolph with 13.
The girls started off a bit slow in the morning, but found their groove by midday and really worked as a team. They demonstrated good ball control, good communication, and made good choices. They won by playing as a team, and it truly was a team effort. They found a way to play hard while having fun; that balance is very important.
