LAKE MICHIGAN CATHOLIC SCHOOLS: 41
The Bisons defeated the Lake Michigan Catholic Lakers 50-41 in a hard fought game. Except for the early minutes of the game, New Buffalo was able to maintain a lead throughout the contest but were not able to extend the lead to a comfortable margin. The Lakers had a definite size advantage but the Bison were able to counter their size advantage with tenacity on the boards and pressuring the ball on defense. The offense clicked on occasion and it appeared that the team was on its way to better understanding the concepts of playing with Pace, Spacing the floor, and Passing but on other occasions, not so much.
