BRIDGMAN HIGH SCHOOL: 29
The Bridgman Bees took advantage of a rash of New Buffalo fouls going 15 for 29 from the foul line for the game. In the first half, the Bison shots did not fall. As a result, they led 7-5 at the end of the first quarter and took a 16-12 lead into half time. In the second half, the offense found its rhythm and the team pulled away by scoring 15 in the third while holding Bridgman to 4 in the quarter. The fourth quarter was high scoring for both teams as New Buffalo scored 16 and Bridgman racked up 13, 9 of those points at the free-throw line. The Bison played solid defense throughout the game and shared the ball well on offense. The team implemented several schemes on offense and defense for the first time and handled them well.
