The Bison traveled to Cassopolis to meet the Rangers in a District Semi final game.  New Buffalo had won the regular season conference match up 2-1 as the Rangers proved difficult to put away and this match proved to be no different.  Cassopolis took the initial lead when midway through the 1st half they converted from the penalty spot.  The Bison had controlled the tempo to that point but had not been able to convert.  The goal seemed to reenrgize the Bison who were able to fight back with 2 goals before the break.  With great build up play and connected passing Sotiri Margaritis received a perfect ball from Nick Keen and slotted the ball past the ranger keeper to tie at 1-1.  Moments later Keen was the recipient of an equally great pass from Andrew Keller and buried the shot in the upper left corner.  The 2nd half saw both sides create opportunities without additional scoring.  Cassopolis upped the pressure as time in the half dwindled away but the Bison defense was able to weather the attacks and eventually see the game out to a final of 2-1.  New Buffalo meets LMC, who won their Semi Final 7-0 over Niles Brandywine, on Thursday in a quick turnaround for both sides.
