New Buffalo Came back home Saturday to host the Lawton Blue Devils in a non conference match before moving into a big week.  Although the Bison applied much of the 1st half pressure they found themselves on the wrong end of a 2-1 score line going into halftime.  Against the run of play Lawton went up 2-0 on high energy counterattacks.  Late in the half Patrick Griffin was tripped in the penalty area and Thomas Kucera converted the penalty kick to claw one back and give the Bison some momentum coming into the 2nd half.  New Buffalo amped up the pressure even higher and created many fantastic chances that just missed or that the Lawton keeper was able to deflect aside but midway through the half Nick Keen was pushed to the ground in the box and Kucera found himself taking and converting his 2nd PK of the day to draw even at 2-2.  New Buffalo took the lead with 10 minutes remaining after a well executed passing sequence got the ball to Griffin who 1st timed his shot with a sliding volley.  Feeling energized from the score New Buffalo continued the pressure in the remaining minutes but once more Lawton against the run of play countered and were able to score knotting the score at 3s where the game ended.  New Buffalo stays at home for a Tuesday night clash with BCS Divisional foe Howardsville Christian before heading to Bridgman on Thursday.
