SOUTH HAVEN HIGH SCHOOL: 4
The Bison had a short day of rest after their Saturday win over Coloma and a long trip up the coast as they faced Non Conference opponent South Haven for a 6:45 start. The 1st 20 minutes were not ideal for the Bison as the Home Rams converted 4 opportunities spotting themselves a big early lead. New Buffalo showed a great deal of character and played the final 60 minutes to a scoreless draw and created several great opportunities of their own from Robby Thorn, Nick Keen, and Tommy Tran, along with Zane Lauricella's shot from 25 yards that rang the woodwork. Some other scrambles in front of the Ram goal could have easily resulted in Bison scores but it was not to be. Gaige Rice made his debut in goal and kept a clean sheet for the 2nd half. New Buffalo comes back home for a Wednesday BCS Divisional contest against Michigan Lutheran at 6pm.
