After a week with no competitions the Bison jumped into a busy week as they traveled to Coloma for a Saturday match against the Comets. Fielding a strong veteran team the Comets brought a fast physical style and New Buffalo proved equal to the task as they came out on top 3-2. The scoring opened when Nick Keen cleaned up from close range after Patrick Griffin knocked down a free kick from Thomas Kucera into the box. Coloma came back and scorded from a steep angle into the roof of the net. The Bison rebounded quickly and made it 2-1 into halftime when Sotiri Margaritis finished with a header from an Andrew Keller free kick. The 2nd half saw both teams trade PKs, Coloma tying at 2-2 and then with only minutes remaining Nick Keen was brought down from behind and Thomas Kucera finished from the spot. The win brings tghe Bison to .500 at the halfway point.
