New Buffalo Boys Soccer got back on the winning track as they hosted Buchanan in a Saturday evening match.  The Bison controlled possession and created many opportunities and finally tallied when Zane Lauricella broke in from the right side and found Patrick Griffin crashing into the 6 yard area.  Griffin, who usually contributes by keeping the opponent out of the net, was active in the Buchanan area all game and was able to beat the Buchanan keeper to the near post and 1st time the ball into the near corner.  New Buffalo found joy down the right side again when Andrew Keller won a loose ball and drove into the corner and put in a perfect cross to the 6 where Sotiri Margaritis hit a volley into the back of the net.  The half ended with more opportunities but a 2-0 lead for the Bison.  The 2nd half was much of the same, a lot of pressure and possession but the Bison were held scoreless.  The Bison defense rebounded from their last two games and kept a clean sheet to ensure the home field victory.  The Bison don't play again until next Saturday as they travel to Coloma.
