New Buffalo Boys Soccer opened their Home Schedule in much the same way as they did all of last year, with a Win.  After a slight delay with scheduling the Bison prevailed over the visiting Bobcats of Niles Brandywine.  The 1st half saw a high energy, but not always controlled, New Buffalo side take 1 goal lead on a close range rebounded finish from Andrew Keller.  The Bison came into the 2nd half with a more controlled ball possession attack that was able to create and exploit some gaps in the scrappy Bobcat defense.  Sotiri Margaritis was the beneficiary of some great build up play and calmly finished his opportunities to tally 2 more for the Bison in the 2nd half.  The Bison played solid defense and limited Brandywine to only a few opportunities down field but Keeper Nick Keen was able to make some good saves to keep the clean sheet. New Buffalo hosts Berrien Springs and Bangor next week before going into a big conference game with LMC after Labor Day.
