BRIDGMAN HIGH SCHOOL: 7
The varsity Football team notched a significant victory Friday defeating Bridgman 50-7.
Defensively Brenden Tanksley had two sacks, Ben Lijewski also contributed with a Sack. Jonah Bussa, Tim Mayer and Jarvis Tarnowski had big tackles while the Defensive Line controlled the Line of Scrimmage all night, only allowing 36 rushing yards by the Bees.
On Offense, Andrew Coffeen led all rushers with 102 yards on the ground and 4 touchdowns. Garrett Mullen had two impressive touchdown runs with Jalin Hadley scored his first varsity touchdown. Catching passes from Coffeen were Seth Margaritis, Tim Mayer and Jon Gaeta. Josh Kay had his first pancake block on offense.
Special Teams got in on the fun with Robby Thorn going 6 for 6 on PAT's.
The Bison travel to River Valley for their annual grudge match this Friday.
