All, The link to view athletic events live is changing from youtube to our hudl application. Below is the link. You could download an app (hudl fan) and have access all the time from a mobile device. Here is the direct link. https://www.nbas.org/site/Default.aspx?PageID=387 Fitness Area Rules: Students in MS - must be accompanied by an adult in all areas of the fitness facility - weight room, cardio room, gym Students age 14-17 must have a form filled out by their parent and signed off by the Athletic Director in order to use the weight room/cardio room.High School students can use the gym without parent supervision.Any over the age of 18 does not require permission form or parent supervision. Boys Varsity Football vs. Lawrence Jr/Sr High School
Boys Varsity FootballThe Red Arrow Raiders won their conference game against the Lawrence Tigers 72-28 on 10/14. Ethan Lijewski was 8/8 passing for 144 yards and a Touchdown. Josh Seifert rushed for 184 yards and 3 TD's while Eli Thomas rushed for 135 yards and 4 TD's. Ryder Wolnik added 68 yards receiving and a TD to go along with 35 yards rushing. Payton Lijewski had a stand-out defensive game with a team high 8 tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss. Red Arrow runs their record to 5-3 and playes Bangor on 10/21 with a change to finish the season at 6-3.

Boys Varsity FootballThis past Saturday the Red Arrow Raiders (NB and RV co-op) took on the Twin City Sharks and prevailed 82-12. Leading the way offensively was Eli Thomas with 6 total touchdowns, 4 rushing and 2 receiving. Eli compiled 144 yards on the ground and through the air. QB Michael Bombin threw for 5 TD's in the win while Andrew Flick had 2 receiving touchdowns of his own. The Raiders compiled 418 yards of offense on 34 plays. Defensively Bombin led the team with 8 tackles, 2 tackles for loss and 2 interceptions. Chris Israelite had an outstanding defensive game that included a huge sack and forced fumble that led to a scoop and score by Ben Coffeen. Coffeen also had a 60 yard reception for a TD earlier in the game. The unsung heroes of the team - the Offensive and Defensive lines led by Caden Olson, David Fairchild, Hunter Lynch and Cameron Evans kept the Sharks defense at bay while maintaining contact pressure on their offense.

Girls Varsity Basketball vs. OPEN DATE
Girls Varsity BasketballMichigan Lutheran dominated the first quarter with tenacious defense and hot shooting taking a 23-5 lead into the second quarter. The second quarter saw the Bison play slightly better but the shots, when available, did not fall leading to a ML lead of 37-11 at the half. New Buffalo found some energy in the second half but the damage was already done. The Bison fell to the Titans, 54-27 in the District finals. New Buffalo ended their season with a mark of 17-5.

Girls Varsity BasketballLMC played hard and scrappy on defense giving the Bison all they could handle in the early going. New Buffalo led 6-5 after one quarter but found some rhythm in the second quarter and extended their lead to 21-13 at the half. The Bison extended their lead to 14 by the end of the 3rd quarter and maintained that distance throughout the fourth, winning the District opener by a score of 49-35. The Bison were led in scoring by Senior Captain Mary Mayer who had 18. Junior Nadia Collins scored 9.

Girls Varsity BasketballThe Bison jumped to an early lead and never looked back. Everyone enjoyed good minutes and the ball moves well in the last regular season game of the year. The Bison were led in scoring ty their Captains, Abby Vitale and Mary Maye who had 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Girls Varsity BasketballThe Bison were effective with their press and used it to jump to a 23-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. Celebrating Senior Night on the last home game of the season, the raucous crowd inspired the team throughout the evening. Senior Clair Workman had four points and led the team in rebounds with 9. Senior Captain Mary Mayer had yet another solid all around game with six points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and tying junior Sophia De Oliveira for the team lead with 7 "hands on". The "hands on" statistic includes tips, deflections, forced jump balls, and other hustle plays when the player touched but was unable to control the ball. On offense, The Bison were led in scoring by Junior Nadia Collins with 11 and Sophomore Aaron James with 10.

Girls Varsity BasketballIn a hard fought and intense league contest, the Bison prevailed over the unbeaten Michigan Lutheran Titans, 54-34. The Titans are ranked #5 In the state for Division 4 teams. Defense was the key to the Bison victory as the team executed their assignments with great effort and efficiency disrupting the Titans potent offense and leading to some breakout baskets. Like the Bison, the Titans use their defense to create offense. While not completely successful, the Bison were able to limit the damage caused by the Titans defense by ball and player movement.

Girls Varsity BasketballTbe Bison fell behind 22 - 10 at the end of the first quarter and were down 39 - 18 at halftime. New Buffalo won the third quarter to close the gap to 50 - 32 before losing 68 - 45. The game felt closer than the score indicated as the Bison moved the ball well on offense and played hard on defense. Buchanan shot very well throughout the game and took advantage of Bison turnovers to score buckets in transition.

Girls Varsity BasketballThe Bison suffered from a case of dribblitis in the first quarter resulting in 8 turnovers. That, coupled with good shots not falling, resulted in the Bison going into the second quarter down 10-6. The second quarter combination of bad shots not falling and listless play led to a deficit of 21-10 at halftime. The Bison came out strong in the second half and played a much better half closing the River Valley lead to 4 at one point. However, even though the effort and focus were much better, the shots still did not fall and New Buffalo lost a tough one to their rivals, 36-25.

Girls Varsity BasketballThe Bisons defeated the Lake Michigan Catholic Lakers 50-41 in a hard fought game. Except for the early minutes of the game, New Buffalo was able to maintain a lead throughout the contest but were not able to extend the lead to a comfortable margin. The Lakers had a definite size advantage but the Bison were able to counter their size advantage with tenacity on the boards and pressuring the ball on defense. The offense clicked on occasion and it appeared that the team was on its way to better understanding the concepts of playing with Pace, Spacing the floor, and Passing but on other occasions, not so much.

Girls Varsity BasketballThe Bison stampeded out to an early lead by creating turnovers through their zone press and converting them into baskets through good ball movement. Watervliet came roaring back in the second quarter, however, and took the lead going into halftime. New Buffalo regrouped at halftime and played well in the second half until some sloppy play down the stretch made the game a little too close for comfort. The Bison escaped with a 43-39 victory.
